Spain increases energy storage target in NECP to 22.5GW by 2030

Spain has raised its energy storage target for 2030 to 22.5GW in the new NECP update. The increase is part of a royal decree passed by the Ministry of Ecological Transition. The country also plans to scale up green hydrogen production and continue its focus on solar PV to achieve renewable energy targets.
