Spain offers EUR 1.2bn in state aid for green H2 valley development

The Spanish ministry for the ecological transition released the rules for the next green hydrogen subsidy programme with a budget of EUR 1.2 billion. The aid aims to fund larger-sized projects and the installation of more powerful electrolysers, promoting large-scale production and consumption of electrolytic hydrogen and its derivatives. This programme supports the establishment of large green hydrogen valleys or clusters following the approval of EUR 794 million for Spain-based hydrogen IPCEIs.
