Spain's Enerfin boosts profit by 16.1% y/y in Q1 2024

Enerfin, a Spanish wind and solar developer, experienced a 16.1% increase in net profit, earning EUR 6.7 million in Q1 2024. The company, part of Elecnor group, is preparing to be acquired by Norwegian power company Statkraft AS. This deal, valued at EUR 1.8 billion, is expected to complete in the first half of 2024. Enerfin operates and develops substantial renewable assets across Spain, Brazil, Canada, and Colombia. Additionally, Celeo, also operated by Elecnor, reported a decrease in net profit in its renewable operations in Spain and Brazil.
