Spain’s Solaria to go land hunting for Repsol’s renewables

Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente SA will act as a land acquisition agent for Repsol SA to find suitable sites for renewable energy projects. Generia, Solaria's land acquisition vehicle, will negotiate and sign lease contracts on behalf of Repsol Renovables. Solaria has set up Generia to purchase land in Europe while Repsol's renewables projects are in Spain, Italy, and the Americas. Solaria has hired investment banks to develop a strategic plan for Generia and find new partners.
