Spain to allocate EUR 2.3bn for green H2, eco transition programmes

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced the government's plan to launch four new subsidy programmes worth over EUR 2.3 billion to accelerate Spain's transition to renewable energy and green hydrogen. The initiatives will focus on areas like green hydrogen production, the renewable energy value chain, new energy communities, and support for renewables in agriculture, infrastructure, and villages throughout Spain.
