Spanish renewables company Elawan Energy to build 2GW solar projects in Italy

Elawan Energy and R.Power Investment have established a joint venture to develop 2GW solar PV projects in Italy, with projects in regions such as Basilicata, Lazio, Sardinia, and Sicily. Elawan Energy also acquired two solar PV projects in Apulia and was acquired by ORIX Corporation. R.Power is contracting a 134MWp solar PV portfolio in Poland, with projects scheduled for completion by April 2025.
