SPR wins consent for 65MW Scottish hybrid

ScottishPower Renewables has received planning consent for the 65MW Hollandmey hybrid renewables project in Scotland. The project includes onshore wind, solar array, and battery energy storage to generate electricity for around 40,000 homes. Gillian Noble, SPR’s onshore managing director, mentioned the benefits of combining onshore wind, solar, and battery to maximize electricity generation. Highland Council has agreed to a contribution for the electric vehicle network in the Highlands.
