SSE takes FID on 50-MW Scottish wind farm

UK utility SSE plc has taken a final investment decision on a 50-MW wind project, Aberarder Wind Farm, in the Scottish Highlands. The project received a 15-year Contract for Difference in UK Allocation Round 5 and is aligned with SSE plc's Net Zero Acceleration Programme. SSE Renewables aims to expand its net capacity to more than 9 GW.
