Statera seeks permit for 500-MW battery in England

Statera Energy has filed a planning application for a 500-MW battery energy storage system at Culham Campus in Oxfordshire. This storage facility will support the decarbonisation of the UK’s electricity system, connect to the Culham Substation in 2027, and benefit the expansion of Culham Campus.
