Statkraft inks PPA for 80-MWp solar-storage site in UK

Norwegian state-owned utility Statkraft AS has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for an 80-MWp solar plant with a battery energy storage system in East Riding of Yorkshire, UK. The contracts were signed with FP Lux Group, managed by re:cap global investors ag, who acquired the asset from BayWa r.e. AG. Statkraft also agreed to optimize an 8-MW storage facility under a separate agreement.
