Statkraft wins generation license for 48-MW Scottish wind farm

Ofgem issues electricity generation license to Statkraft AS for its 48-MW Mossy Hill wind farm on Scotland’s Shetland islands. The project will have 12 turbines with a combined output equal to the electricity consumption of over 34,000 homes annually. Statkraft acquired Mossy Hill project in April last year. The project also includes a proposal to install a new substation connecting it to a 132-kV transmission network.
