Steelwind completes final He Dreiht monopile

Steelwind Nordenham has produced the last monopile for EnBW's 960MW He Dreiht offshore wind farm in Germany. The production involved almost 84,000 tonnes of steel, with the structures having diameters of 9.2 metres, lengths of up to 71 metres, and weights of up to 1400 tonnes. The project is expected to be connected to the grid by the end of 2025 and will provide electricity to support the production of green steel at Steelwind's parent company Dillinger and Saarstahl.
