Sundrive cuts jobs, restructures ahead of solar tech commercialization

Sundrive Solar, a Sydney-based copper-plated solar cell manufacturer, has announced a restructuring plan to streamline its operations, leading to layoffs. CEO Vincent Allen now serves as the chief technical officer, with Natalie Malligan taking over as CEO. Sundrive received an AUD 11 million ARENA grant to scale up its production capacity. They partnered with AGL to establish a solar manufacturing facility in New South Wales.
