Sungrow signs supply deal with UK developers for 1.7GWh BESS project

Sungrow, a PV inverter and battery energy storage system provider, has signed an agreement to supply BESS systems for the Hams Hall energy storage project in North Warwickshire, England. The project, developed by Penso Power and Luminous Energy and funded by BW ESS, involves the supply of 280 sets of PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooled BESS units. Sungrow has previous collaborations with BW ESS and Penso Power on BESS projects, including the 100MW/330MWh Bramley project. Sungrow has also partnered with SSE Renewables for the 320MW/640MWh Monk Fryston project and introduced a new home-sized energy storage solution, the SBR064.
