TenneT to carry out HKW beta cable works

The first sea cable for the Hollandse Kust (west Beta) offshore wind farm will soon be retracted under the dunes near Velsen. TenneT plans to install two electricity cables to bring energy from the offshore wind farm to land. The first cable will be brought ashore from the sea using the Giant 7 installation pontoon. The cables will be connected in an underground socket in the Sculpture Park, and the power will be transmitted to a transformer station in Wijk aan Zee.
