Tesla launches Powerwall 3 in Australia, New Zealand

US-based Tesla has launched the latest generation of its standalone home battery product, Powerwall 3, in Australia and New Zealand with increased power output, improved efficiency, and seamless integration with solar systems. The product features a 13.5 kWh battery capacity, 5 kW charging and discharging capacity, and comes with an integrated inverter supporting up to 20 kW of solar. The Powerwall 3 relies on lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry and has a redesigned thermal management system allowing operation in temperatures from -20 C to 50 C.
