Tesvolt, Ocean Batteries form maritime energy storage JV

German battery storage systems maker Tesvolt GmbH merges its maritime solutions division with Norwegian firm Ocean Batteries to establish Tesvolt Ocean, a new entity focusing on energy storage solutions for ships. Tesvolt Ocean introduces the power storage system Kaptein with a high energy density of 246 Wh per litre, providing space-efficient and lightweight storage capacity for clean e-drives in ships.
