Texla, Renewco team up on electrolysis projects in southern Spain

Spanish renewable energy services provider Texla Renovables partners with UK renewables developer Renewco Power to develop electrolysis plants in southern Spain till 2027, focusing on green hydrogen. The first project includes a 60-MW electrolyser, a 150-MW solar photovoltaic plant, and a 50 MW/100 MWh battery energy storage system in Cadiz province, Andalusia. Andalusia is a significant hub for green hydrogen projects, representing 27% of Spain's projects.
