TGS completes New York Bight surveys

TGS completed a UHR3D survey for Community Offshore Wind in the New York Bight, providing detailed soil condition data for an offshore wind project with 3GW capacity. The survey commenced in October 2023, lasting over eight months. It characterized the site's soil conditions, crucial for the project design. Community Offshore Wind won a lease sale in February 2022 and contracted TGS for acquiring UHR3D data covering the entire lease area.
