The Hydrogen Stream: Jera to invest up to $13 billion in hydrogen, ammonia by 2035

Jera plans to invest JPY 1-2 trillion in hydrogen and ammonia by 2035 with a focus on 7 million tons handling volume. The UK government delays hydrogen town pilot until decisions in 2026. The European Union establishes common internal market rules. Cepsa partners with Siemens Energy for green hydrogen production, while Thyssenkrupp is the preferred supplier for alkaline electrolyzers.
