Thermal energy storage system (TESS) developer MGA Thermal based in New South Wales, Australia, received $2.48 million funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) to scale up their renewable energy generator. MGA Thermal aims to enable renewable generation to meet the industrial sector’s needs with their technology using proprietary Miscibility Gap Alloy (MGA). The system offers sustainable alternatives to fossil fuel-dependent processes and complements current renewable solutions with behind-the-meter options.
