Total, EnBW emerge as winners in 2.5-GW German offshore wind tender

The German Federal Network Agency awarded contracts for two areas totaling 2,500 MW of offshore wind power in the North Sea. Offshore Wind One GmbH, owned by TotalEnergies, succeeded in the bidding for area N-11.2. EnBW Energie was awarded area N-12.3. TotalEnergies will establish a 3.5 GW offshore wind energy hub. EnBW plans to sign power purchase agreements for the electricity produced by the new wind farm.
