The Kemerton Battery Energy Storage System is a proposed project in Australia with a power output of 660 MW and a storage capacity of 2,640 MWh. It aims to be the largest battery storage facility in Australia, surpassing the Collie battery being built by Neoen in Western Australia. Trina Solar, a Shanghai-listed company, has applied for the project's development with the Shire of Harvey. The facility will be constructed on an 18.75ha cleared land.
