U.S. manufacturer Toledo Solar closes business

Toledo Solar, a cadmium telluride thin-film solar panel manufacturer, announced the end of all research and development efforts and the closure of operations due to licensing issues. First Solar filed a lawsuit against Toledo Solar for selling Malaysian-made modules under false claims, leading to the business closure. Toledo Solar's CEO exited the company, and subsequent attempts to pivot the business model failed, resulting in the decision to cease operations.
