UK CfD round backs 28 MW of tidal stream projects

Six tidal stream projects in the UK secured contracts in the sixth CfD allocation round at GBP 172 per MWh. These projects will add 28 MW of tidal stream capacity by 2029. The Marine Energy Council highlighted the winning projects and called for maintaining the tidal stream ringfence.
