UK developer unveils 500MW solar scheme

Renewables developer Island Green Power (IGP) plans to develop a 500MW utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system in Norfolk, UK. The project aims to minimize impacts on local communities, enhance the local ecology, and deliver community benefits. IGP will submit a Development Consent Order (DCO) application in late 2025 for the project, which is classified as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project.
