UK freeport appoints logistics firm

ASCO has been awarded a major contract to provide services at Teesworks in North East England. The contract includes quayside planning, operations coordination, vessel scheduling, and more. Teesworks is being developed as an integrated energy hub for new energies like hydrogen and offshore wind projects. ASCO expects work to begin this summer, creating up to 65 local jobs. Garry O’Malley, operations director at Teesworks, expressed delight in awarding the contract to ASCO.
