UK urged to cut renewables penalties

Ripple Energy is leading the movement in Britain for people to own a stake in large-scale wind farms and solar parks through energy cooperatives. They are launching the 'Own Your Power' campaign to remove financial barriers for joining cooperatives. Sarah Merrick, founder and chief executive of Ripple, is advocating for community energy projects and simplified exemptions for people owning renewable energy sources.
