Uniper to build battery energy storage system in Germany with NGEN

Uniper and NGEN are planning to build a 50 MW battery storage system in western Germany. The facility aims to facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources and ensure a reliable power supply. Uniper is committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2040 and expanding its gas portfolio to include green gases like hydrogen and biomethane.
