US unveils $112M fund for wave energy projects

The US government's Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) has announced a funding call of US$112M for the demonstration of wave energy technologies spread over five years. Three main topic areas include wave device development, coastal community needs support, and utility power. The aim is to accelerate deployments in US waters and boost the wave energy sector.
