Vestas 15MW turbine up at Danish port

Vestas has finalized the installation of its V236-15.0MW offshore turbine in Port of Thyboron, Denmark. The turbine produced its first kWh of power, marking a crucial milestone. Vestas is ramping up serial production ahead of installing the turbine in offshore projects. The deal includes a 20-year AOM4000 service agreement. Vestas has installed a prototype at Osterild National test centre and secured orders for offshore projects in Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands.
