Vestas bags 84MW Austrian repowering order

Vestas has received an 84MW turbine order from BE Energy, a subsidiary of Burgenland Energie, for a wind farm repowering project in Austria. The project includes the supply, delivery, and commissioning of 14 V150-6.0MW turbines. Neusiedl-Weiden is one of Austria's largest repowering projects to date with 44 older turbines set to be replaced. Vestas will service the turbines under a 25-year service agreement. BE Energy GmbH is proud to start Austria's largest wind repowering project and has partnered with Vestas for supply and maintenance.
