Vestas confirms 660MW Nordseecluster A contract

Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order from RWE to supply turbines for the Nordseecluster A offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. The Danish manufacturer will provide 44 V236-15.0MW turbines for the project, covering both supply, installation, and commissioning. The contract also involves a five-year service agreement. This deal comes after Vestas secured preferred bidder status in February 2023 for the 1.6GW Nordseecluster complex, with a second phase following a slightly later development timeline.
