Vestas picks up 577MW Oz order

Vestas has been awarded the EPC contract for the second stage of TagEnergy's 1300MW Golden Plains Wind Farm in Australia. The second stage will feature Vestas' V162-6.2 MW wind turbines from the EnVentus platform, making it Vestas' largest-ever onshore wind farm. Vestas will also deliver a 30-year service and maintenance agreement ensuring optimal energy production into the Australian grid.
