Vestas swoops on 50MW Spanish wind

Vestas has secured a 50MW Spanish order for its EnVentus turbine platform from Elawan Energy. The order includes supply and installation of V162-6.2MW and V162-6.4MW turbines for wind projects in Spain with a 25-year service agreement. Turbine delivery expected in Q1 2025 and commissioning in Q2-Q3 2025. Vestas has a long history in Spain with over 5.3GW of installed wind energy capacity across 140 wind parks since 1991.
