VSB's Italy unit about to start building 60-MWp solar farm in Sicily

German renewables developer-operator VSB Group is nearing the construction phase of its 60-MWp solar photovoltaic project in Sicily. The Ramacca ground-mounted solar project on a 100-hectare site is expected to generate around 117 GWh of power per year. VSB's Italian team has 1.8 GW of wind and solar power projects in development. Italy aims to connect 50 gigawatts of PV capacity to the grid by 2030.
