Waaree Energies secures 412 MW solar module order

India's Waaree Energies has secured a contract to supply its bifacial solar modules for Spanish developer Acciona Energy’s 412.5 MWp project in Rajasthan, India. The utility-scale solar project in Kawani, Bikaner district, with commissioning in March 2025, will feature Waaree’s p-type bifacial modules with a rated output of 540 W to 545 Wp each, installed on horizontal single-axis trackers for enhanced energy yield. Waaree Energies, India’s largest PV module manufacturer founded in 1990, has four solar module factories in India.
