Western Australia inks major deal for more renewables, storage

Western Australia and the Australian federal government have sealed a deal to add 6.5 TWh of new wind and solar power generation, along with 1.1 GWh of battery storage. The agreement aims to boost renewable energy and storage in the country's largest state, aiding the transition away from coal-fired power stations.
