World’s largest pumped hydro storage project secures key contracts

Twin Hills Engineering and Drilling, and Water2Wire joint venture partnership has been awarded the first contracts for Queensland state government's AUD 12 billion Pioneer-Burdekin pumped hydro energy storage project. The project aims to provide 5 GW of generation capacity for 24 hours, supporting Queensland's clean energy future. The geotechnical contract was awarded to Twin Hills Engineering and Drilling, while the front-end engineering and design was assigned to Water2Wire.
