YPF Luz begins construction of 63-MW wind project in Argentina

YPF Luz is constructing a 63-MW wind farm in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in collaboration with Cementos Avellaneda. Located near Olavarria, the project involves a $80 million investment and will include nine turbines. The farm will serve both self-consumption for Cementos Avellaneda and supply power in Argentina’s MATER marketplace. Expected commissioning is in the first half of 2025.
