Ørsted wraps up consultation about Isle of Man offshore wind farm

Ørsted has completed a community consultation for the Mooir Vannin project, Isle of Man’s first offshore wind farm. The project will have a capacity of 1.4 GW and up to 100 turbines. Anticipated connection points are in Penwortham, Lancashire in the UK and the Douglas area in the Isle of Man. John Galloway, Ørsted development director for the Isle of Man, emphasized the importance of feedback received. The company plans to submit a planning application in 2025.
