3Sun unveils 480 W n-type HJT solar module with 25% efficiency

3Sun, a PV manufacturer based in Catania, Italy, released a new series of n-type heterojunction (HJT) solar modules at Intersolar Europe in Munich. The modules are based on the 3SUN CORE-H technology that combines crystalline silicon with amorphous silicon layers, ensuring superior efficiency and reliability. The series includes rooftop and utility-scale versions with high power ratings and efficiencies, coming to market in 2024.
