ABL wins Spain, France interconnector contract

ABL has been awarded a contract by INELFE to oversee the offshore transportation and installation of the Biscay interconnector between France and Spain. INELFE is a joint company of French and Spanish electricity transmission system operators responsible for building interconnectors to increase interchange capacity. The project is a Project of Common Interest co-financed by the EU involving four cables with a capacity of 2 x 1000MW. ABL's scope includes technical review, fleet suitability survey, and on-site attendance.
