Airbus-led project aims to demonstrate hydrogen aircraft ground ops

Aircraft maker Airbus Group announced the launch of project GOLIAT to demonstrate liquid hydrogen aircraft ground operations at three European airports. The project aims to develop high-flow liquid hydrogen handling and refueling technologies for airport operations, supported by EUR 10.8 million EU funding. Karine Guenan from Airbus expressed belief in hydrogen for short-haul aviation. Consortium includes various organizations from different countries.
