Alight’s Finnish 100MW solar PV park secures grid connection

Alight, a Swedish IPP, is planning to construct a 100MW solar park in Finland in late 2024 in collaboration with Caruna. The company aims to sign a power purchase agreement to ensure financial viability. Other players entering the Finnish market include Fotowatio Renewable Ventures aiming to develop 600MW of solar PV. Finland has increased its solar PV capacity targets according to its National Energy and Climate Plan.
