Alight’s Finnish 100MW solar PV park secures grid connection

Alight, an independent power producer, is set to construct a 100MW solar PV park in Eurajoki, Finland. The project, signed with Caruna, aims to be operational by early 2026. Their goal is to develop 1.5GW of solar PV by 2024. Caruna's executive VP, Kosti Rautiainen, highlighted the need for grid development in Finland. Solar PV interest in Finland is growing despite lower irradiance levels, with companies like FRV entering the market.
