Alight, Svea Solar sign agreements with Sveaskog for 2 GW of solar in Sweden

Swedish solar developers Alight and Svea Solar have signed collaborative agreements with Sveaskog, Sweden’s largest forest owner, to develop a total 2 GW of solar across the country over a five-year period. Sveaskog will lease the land and co-invest in the solar parks. The first two projects are underway in central and southern Sweden. Development could potentially double Sweden’s current installed solar capacity.
