Alternus buying 80-MWp multi-state solar portfolio in US

Alternus Clean Energy Inc., a US-based solar developer, has agreed to purchase an over 80-MWp portfolio of solar parks across eight states in the USA for approximately USD 60 million, inclusive of project debt. The portfolio includes 33 assets with long-term offtake agreements. The acquisition is expected to nearly triple Alternus's operational projects and significantly boost its revenue and operating income. The deal, slated to close by the end of the second quarter, is part of Alternus’s strategic plan to expand its operating capacity to 3 GW within five years.
