Amazon joins Bord na Móna's Eco Energy Park

Bord na Móna in Ireland has announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop the first Eco Energy Park in the Midlands, dedicated to renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power. This partnership includes a 105MW Power Purchase Agreement for AWS at Derrinlough Wind Farm, advancing AWS's goal to power its operations with 100% renewable energy by 2025. The project supports economic growth, enhances the grid's resiliency and contributes to Ireland's climate objectives and enterprise development.
