Amea Power secures financing for 120 MW of solar in South Africa

Amea Power, based in Dubai, reached financial close on a 120 MW solar project in South Africa, with Doornhoek PV array near Klerksdorp. They secured funding from Standard Bank and Industrial Development Corp. The solar plant is expected to be operational by December 2025, generating 325 GWh of clean energy. Amea Power also signed a power purchase agreement with the South African government.
